Where: The kitchen of an apartment in a five-story apartment building in the prestigious center of St. Petersburg. At the time the photograph was taken, 10 families lived in the apartment.

Who: Oksana; Ilya, who took the photo.

What: A corner of the kitchen used by one of the families: a gas stove, a kitchen table, shelves, and the space above the stove.

Oksana is using a meat grinder to grind meat for meatballs. Women's underpants are drying over the stove (perhaps they will be removed before the meatballs are fried). On the shelf we see empty plastic bottles.
